Rain and windshields

 So, it has been raining here pretty much every day for a month! If Auto Glass EMT replaced your windshield, you have no worries! In all of my years in the auto glass business I could not begin to tell you how many horror stories I have heard. Customer calls or comes in for their appointment and says "I hope it doesn't leak like it did with the last company I used" or "I had a windshield replaced a few years ago and that company had to come back out 5 times to get the leaks fixed". At Auto Glass EMT all of our technicians have a minimum of 10 years experience.  They are all very knowledgeable and abide by very strict guidelines as for the cut out, pinchweld preparation, glass preparation, urethane application, and installation. Every windshield we do is set by 2 guys. It can be done with 1 like most companies do, but we want our installation to be as close to the factory install as possible. 2 guys can line it up perfect so there is no need to slide or move it after the glass has been set. If you need a new windshield ask the company you are considering about the experience level of the technicians and if they use 2 guys to set the new windshield. It could save you a lot of time and trouble in the future!
